Hello dear readers,
As you can see I have a package of lemongrass
tea. Appropriately named, because after tasting it I could detect the
flavor of lemon and lime, which was very refreshing in my opinion. This
is my first time ever tasting it. I will say it is good, but the flavor
isn't my favorite. Not as good as peppermint to me.
Citral, the main chemical component that is in lemongrass is antimicrobial. That makes it effect for destroying microorganism. The component also has anti fungal properties.
The honey is
from a company named Honey Farms. It has a good flavor, but it isn't the
best honey I have tried. Make sure it's light in color if you want it
to be sweet. The darker it is, the more bitter it will be.
Honey's properties are already becoming more well known. It is antibacterial and anti fungal. It helps reduce cough and throat irritation. Some variations of honey are even known to be probiotic.
Together, the tea and honey went well.
